autumn has officially been around for a little while now, but the weather has only started to feel like it. that’s great news for us because it’s finally time to bring back the beloved hot stone rice bowl but with a few twists! in addition to the usual supplemental poached egg, we have now added uni, adobo braised duck & fried chicken add-on options! herbi and omnivores rejoice!
we have also said goodbye to a few options as well. the falafel waffle and the torta di ceci are currently taking a break and have made way not only for the rice bowl, but for the winter squash latke with apple sauce and house creme fraiche. if it sounds a little familiar, it is a dish matt created in the last kitchen we cooked out of.
